Crosby Energy Services is Hiring a Field Mechanic Near George, TX
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of pumps used in oil and gas pipelines. Troubleshoot and diagnose pump issues, ensuring swift and effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and perform preventive maintenance on pumps to enhance reliability.
- Inspect, replace, and maintain mechanical seals to prevent leaks and ensure the integrity of pipeline systems.
- Work closely with vendors to source quality mechanical seal components and materials.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on pipeline valves to ensure proper functionality.
- Diagnose and repair valve malfunctions, including addressing issues related to actuation systems and control mechanisms.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new valves, collaborating with the construction and engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
- Generate detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any potential risks or improvement opportunities.
- Identifies and repairs mechanical and electrical faults by discussion with field operators, listening to machinery and using specialized testing equipment.
- Repairs and adjust electrical faults in mechanical equipment.
- Works closely with operations to ensure projects are performed safe and timely.
- Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
- Supports company vision and mission.
- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Required to be on call every other week.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Other duties as assigned by management.
