Job Summary:

This position will be assigned various duties throughout the year which may include working in plant to transform raw product to seed, operating forklift, conducting seed sampling, working in fields, maintaining seed dryer, and/or working in the lab.

This position will include outside work in a variety of weather conditions. Seasonal weekend work will be required. Seasonal swing or graveyard work may be required.

Responsibilities: (Position requires one or more of the following)

May work in one or more of the following areas: husking shed, dryer bins, cleaning machines, growing fields, lab, shipping, warehouse, or elsewhere in plant.

Conduct seed sampling for laboratory to maintain updated germination information.

Have adequate visual recognition skills.

Maintain documentation

Report any quality or non-conformances to Laboratory Manager

Operate forklift (willing to train)

Perform various field activities

Other duties as assigned

Seed sampler certification is a plus.

Must be able to climb up/down ladders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
