We specialize in the testing & inspection of fueling systems. The AccuMeasure Division utilizes a proprietary proving system to test (measure) & calibrate fuel dispensers for accuracy. We are seeking individuals who want to perform this unique service for our clients throughout the United States. No prior experience is required. Crompco will pay you while in training and ultimately you will become licensed with each state to conduct this service.

We are looking for people who want to learn and have the initiative to start working in a new field. We encourage people who have a mechanical aptitude and are willing to travel throughout the United States to apply for this position. Once onboard, it will take approximately 6 months to complete the training, gain enough experience to operate a unit on your own and become licensed to conduct the service, which is a requirement by each state.

After training, you will work independently in the field without being micromanaged. As a result, you will have some freedom and control over the work you are completing. This position is best suited for people who are motivated, honest, and accountable. Crompco pays an hourly wage with generous overtime opportunities. U.S. military veteran candidates may choose to use one year of their GI Bill benefits, for on-the-job (OJT) at Crompco.

DUTIES

Assisting the job foreman with equipment setup, site preparation, meter calibrations, and minor gas station maintenance. rnrnOthers include but aren't limited to driving a company-owned motor vehicle (CDL not required); performing the work per company safety protocols; and eventually working toward becoming a foreman, getting your own truck & managing a work crew.

QUALIFICATIONS

Extended overnight travel is required. You will be paid $50 (tax-free) for every night you are away from home. DOT physical every 2 years; Quarterly random drug screens; motor vehicle check -annually.

Must have a clean driving record, clean drug screen, and pass a DOT physical prior to hire. Drug-Free and Smoke-Free Workplace.r Occasional to frequent lifting up to 10-50 lbs. (1 technician); up to 100 lbs. (2 technicians) Be highly attentive to details, and effectively work with peers based on set priorities. Frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching and standing. Driving duties encompass approximately 25% of the work.
