Position Highlights

1. Performs all maintenance on equipment assigned by the supervisor
2. Performs diesel engines trouble shooting and repairs.
3. Performs hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
4. Advises supervisor of parts purchases.
5. Helps in maintaining parts inventory.
6. Assists superintendents with field equipment problems.
7. Travels to job locations to complete scheduled or unscheduled equipment maintenance.
8. Responsible for keeping their work area clean and organized.
9. Assists in the final inspection for all equipment before loading for transportation to a jobsite.
10. Observes all safety procedures.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess the Following:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance

Successful Team Members in This Position Possess the Following:

• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Must have tools for the job

Working Conditions

• Primarily works exposed to the elements of mechanic's shop setting
• Requires travel, including overnight outside of employee's home territory
• Exposed to hazardous materials
• Exposed to frequent loud noises
• Exposed to dangerous machinery
• Generally works five 8-hour days, although overtime may occur
