CROM is Hiring a Region Manager Near Gainesville, FL
Job Purpose: Responsible for project sales and client satisfaction, engineering design approval, and overseeing construction in a particular geographic area or market sector.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sales
- Search for new clients who might benefit from CROM’s products and services.
- Show clients how CROM best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery to maximize client potential in designated territory.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education including technical presentations to demonstrate how CROM’s products meet client needs.
- Manage and interpret client requirements to develop long-term relationships.
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Prepare cost estimates based on customer needs
- Prepare sales forecasts and keep customer records.
- Meet sales targets.
- Provide after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required.
- Construction
- Develop and manage relationships with general contractors and strategic suppliers to develop long-term relationships.
- Negotiate favorable project bid and contract terms for the company.
- Oversee project development and construction, by the Project Manager and Superintendent, to deliver the highest quality tank constructed safely, on time, and under budget
- Manage project billings and collectibles.
- Engineering
- Expert knowledge of the engineering design and construction details of AWWA D110 wire-wound circular prestressed concrete tanks.
- Approve final engineering check to ensure client and project needs are met by the structural design.
- Contribute design and construction expertise during project development. Liaise with other team members during the project design phase.
- Produce technical sales training support material.
- Leadership
- Active participation in sales meetings.
- Provide training for other members of the department.
- Professional
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, contractors, municipalities, and various local, federal, and government agencies to stay abreast of industry status and trends.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education, technical publications, educational workshops, and participating in professional societies.
- Maintain or enhance the CROM’s image through personal demeanor and methods of conducting business.
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
- Extensive travel and overnight stays
- Long or irregular working hours are normal to meet deadlines, secure deals, and attend conferences and networking events.
