Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drawing Production:
- Coordinate with Estimating, Project Management and Engineering to produce job specific drawings
- Revisions
- As-Builts
- Printing and Distributions
- Coordinate with Estimating, Project Management and Engineering to produce job specific drawings
- Drafting Standards:
- Proper implementation of CROM standards
- Revise and/or maintain standard Company drawing blocks as directed by Drafting Supervisor
- Participation in department meetings
- Other duties as assigned and seasonal projects as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic understanding of 2D AutoCAD (paper space/model space and annotation scales)
- High motivation level and strong attention to detail
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Ability to sit/stand at work station for a prolonged period of time
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to pass drafting test
- Basic MS Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A.A. Degree in Drafting Technology or other related technical degree or a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting in a production environment
- Proficiency in current release of 2D AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Excel
- Certification in current release of AutoCAD
Working Conditions
- Primarily office
- Occasional travel may be required for continuing education and visits to the shop/job site
- Extended hours may be required as necessary to meet deadlines
