JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the design of natural gas processing equipment through applicable standards and requirements set forth through the Company and International Organization of Standardization (ISO 9000/9001/9004).
Primary Duties
- Independently design and develop systems and components; create manufacturing drawings based on engineer drawings.
- Interface with engineering staff effectively to ensure the form, fit and function of designs while also working with fabrication managers to ensure cost effectiveness and maneuverability of designs.
- Create Purchase Orders and ensure raw materials needed for projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to produce design sketches and drawings.
- Ensure full compliance with the company’s policy, standards, specifications, and/or, but not limited to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as related to job function.
- Perform job in a safe manner to ensure a safe workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Experience in 3-D modeling required, Solid-works preferred; Hands-on experience with design, engineering and/or fabrication of welded components preferred.
- Proficient in job related software/e-technology/cloud based solutions; Solid-works and other CAD/CAM systems.
- Ability to communicate and respond to questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner; multi-task and remain detailed and organized; maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Consistently demonstrate a strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas with the principles of continuous improvement.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
