Position Overview:

The Crusher Laborer and Operator will be responsible for assisting with the setup and tear-down of crushing, conveying, screening, and separating equipment. The Crusher Laborer and Operator is a full-time position that requires travel between Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. The laborer and operator will work overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:

• Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects
• Assist with setup and tear-down of crushing, conveying, screening, and separating equipment
• Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner
• Keep equipment and job site clean using skid steer and shovel
• Perform tasks such as replacing bearings and rollers, repairing and splicing conveyor belts, greasing equipment, and changing oil
• Complete pre and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)

Position Requirements:

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen and drug test
• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record request
• Basic maintenance skills
• Lift heavy objects, tear-down, maintain, repair, and clean equipment
• Equipment operation experience
• Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
