Modeling Engineer - Microwave - Phoenix, AZ Area
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and commercialization of novel 3-dimensional radio frequency (RF) structures through software improvement utilizing advanced optimization techniques for the design and manufacturing of these materials-enabled solutions.
Work collaboratively in agile team environment with RF design, marketing, prototyping, assembly, and operations to develop software techniques to improve computer optimization design methodology.
Develop strategy for and implement algorithms and new software tools to assist in design of electromagnetic structures.
Recommend and lead implementation of computational infrastructure needs to meet business needs for executing electromagnetic simulations and optimizations.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of electromagnetic computational needs and methodologies.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in software and algorithm development and 3 years of industry experience
OR Master’s Degree in in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in software and algorithm development and 1 years of industry experience
Proficiency with MATLAB coding
Superb written and verbal communications skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for rapid results
Experience with the software development for cluster applications preferred
Experience working in agile team environment preferred
Familiar with AI first business structures preferred
Proficiency with Ansys HFSS simulation tool preferred
