Modeling Engineer - Microwave - Phoenix, AZ Area

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and commercialization of novel 3-dimensional radio frequency (RF) structures through software improvement utilizing advanced optimization techniques for the design and manufacturing of these materials-enabled solutions.
• Work collaboratively in agile team environment with RF design, marketing, prototyping, assembly, and operations to develop software techniques to improve computer optimization design methodology.
• Develop strategy for and implement algorithms and new software tools to assist in design of electromagnetic structures.
• Recommend and lead implementation of computational infrastructure needs to meet business needs for executing electromagnetic simulations and optimizations.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of electromagnetic computational needs and methodologies.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in software and algorithm development and 3 years of industry experience
• OR Master’s Degree in in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in software and algorithm development and 1 years of industry experience
• Proficiency with MATLAB coding
• Superb written and verbal communications skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for rapid results
• Experience with the software development for cluster applications preferred
• Experience working in agile team environment preferred
• Familiar with AI first business structures preferred
• Proficiency with Ansys HFSS simulation tool preferred
