Cristo Rey Network Mission

The Cristo Rey Network of high schools delivers a career focused, college preparatory education in the Catholic tradition for students with limited economic resources, uniquely integrating rigorous academic curricula with four years of professional work experience and support to and through college. We partner with educators, businesses and communities to enable students to fulfill their aspirations for a lifetime of success.

Nothing is as important as a teacher and what goes on between a teacher and student, minute to minute, lesson to lesson, day to day. Teachers are the important element in any school– more important than good leadership, nice facilities, or class size.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in education and relevant content area
• Demonstrated ability to connect with historically underserved students and families

Preferred

• Master’s Degree in education and relevant content area
• 3 years teaching experience serving a similar student population
• Bilingual in Spanish
