Crisis Connections is Hiring a Database & Community Enrollment Specialist Near Seattle, WA

Description

Reports to: MOUD Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Payrate: $25.50/hour

Location: Fully Remote, must be located in WA state

Union Representation: Represented by OPEIU Local 8

Crisis Connections provides a variety of telephone-based support services that are free and easily accessible to anyone in our community experiencing crisis. Our service area includes King County and WA State. Our passion is to foster resilience and wellbeing for all by connecting people to accessible and compassionate support.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, from 9am-5pm.

Program Summary:

The Washington Recovery Helpline offers support and referrals for individuals, loved ones and providers seeking treatment for addiction, mental health, and problems gambling. In June 2024, we will be expanding our services to include scheduling for “Bridging Appointments” from emergency rooms to MOUD community providers. 

Position Summary: The Database and Community Enrollment Specialist will maintain the scheduling and referral database for these appointments. This role will require close relationships with community partners and diligent attention to detail. You will work closely with the Crisis Connections Data department and the clinical MOUD team.

As the Database and Community Enrollment Specialist, you will be responsible for compiling accurate and timely reports for funders on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This position responds to internal and external requests for data to track and analyze trends and help share our work with the community. You will assist in the creation of databases and logged call reports as part of quality assurance to identify areas where individual and/or group improvement is needed. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary.

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • A creative and curious thinker with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong experience using Excel and ability to pass proficiency test required.
  • Written and verbal communication is clear, concise, accurate and thorough. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Works well within a team environment.
  • Preferred experience creating database queries.
  • Preferred knowledge of health & human services, substance use and problem gambling resources.
  • Preferred knowledge of taxonomy principles and Inform USA Standards helpful.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain resources and available schedules for MOUD appointments statewide.
  • Attend/host statewide provider meetings.
  • Seek unenrolled clinic and providers to increase statewide scheduling availability, targeting underserved regions and specialized population providers.
  • Run internal/external custom reports, track, analyze and report data/trends related to all channels (calls, chat, email, searches).
  • Monitor data and run queries for specialized contracts.
  • Maintain data dashboards.
  • Perform weekly and monthly QA to ensure consistent quality for call center database and client listings.

Working Conditions: Individuals in this position should be able to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time. Individuals will need to be able to wear a headset or earphones as they take calls and attend meetings. This position will expose you to conversations about substance use disorders, mental health issues and staff responding to crisis situations.

Requirements

Computer Skills Assessment: Crisis Connections requires a basic Computer Skills assessment to measure computer literacy and skills. The assessment is approximately 15 minutes in length, and timed. HR will provide a link to complete the test after screening qualified candidates.

  • This assessment will be completed on the candidate's personal computer. Upon request, candidates may take the assessment at one of our 2 office locations as an accommodation. Additional accommodations for the assessment are provided upon request.

Microsoft Excel Assessment:

  • This role requires strong Microsoft Excel skills, and prior experience with database administration. We'll test your Microsoft Excel skills by sending you a timed Assessment link to ensure you meet our minimum proficiency requirements for the role.

Technology Requirement:

  • High speed internet, minimum 20mbps download and 10mpbs upload speeds.
  • Smart phone with ability to download and use Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) application.
