RHS House Lead

At Crimson Heights, our mission is to help teens and young adults with social, emotional, and behavior challenges move closer to independence. Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to provide supervision to our residential team staff and for our residents and to ensure their safety while building a rapport with them. This includes providing assistance to each staff and resident in reaching their daily goals; conducting skill-building groups; providing individual support; setting limits for behavior; creating documentation of the resident’s progress; identifying and communicating individual needs of the residents to the clinical team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

House Leads are responsible for checking documentation integrity (goals, objectives, length) and continually training their team members.

House Leads are responsible for all cross checks and checking content of notes to ensure it meets auditing standards.

House Leads are responsible for fixing documentation errors. Team Leads will contact Directors to make sure their team has access to clients in SP and when notes/sessions need to be deleted.

Documentation in Axiom and Simple Practice needs to be approved by midnight each Monday and each month-end to ensure their team’s documentation matches up with their Paychex time card.

House Leads will ensure that their teams are documenting their time in the notes section in Paychex to describe admin time. All admin time must be approved by Team Lead/Directors.

House Leads are to ensure that their team members are getting the service hours they need and that hours assigned to team members are being met. Team Leads are responsible for communicating with the Community Director when community hours are not able to be met on a weekly basis.

House Leads are responsible for training their team on company mission and values and company policies and procedures.

House Leads are responsible for monthly team meetings, and inviting a Director. Meetings are to address the topics discussed in monthly team lead meetings, policies and procedures, and specific treatment for clients. Team leads are responsible for making sure monthly quiz forms are completed by every person on their team by the 1st of each month for the previous month.

House Leads are responsible for administering quarterly reviews to assess work of their team and their alignment with mission, values and best practices.

House Leads will be responsible to ensure initial training on behavior intervention plans for clients is received from clinicians and then provide support to their team. Team Leads are responsible for training their teams on the behavior intervention plan for the clients.

Enforces house rules pursuant to the policy

Facilitate residential daily schedule including participating in, and providing support to residents, to include but not limited to, activities such as chores, deep clean of designated space, meal service, laundry service, groups, activities, and events

Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings in company vehicle in a safe and legal manner.

Reports signs of increased aggression, suicidal behavior danger of elopement, etc. and takes necessary safety precautions

Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, checklist assignments, assigned documentation, and any other assigned duties.

Education:

Required: High school diploma / 2 years management experience & experience working with individuals with either autism, oppositional defiance or conduct disorder.

Preferred: Associates Degree, training and knowledge of behavior analysis, Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, social work, or human services, or any other field relevant to care or services to individuals with behavioral and/or mental health challenges
