Position Overview

This is a skilled position requiring the effective management of concrete sales and customer service to residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

· Will be responsible for fulfilling customer needs and services

· RM Sales Rep will communicate with contractors, dispatchers and plant managers

· Will create accurate bids and proposals

· Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and plans

· Will perform customer service in varying degrees

· Will verify sales tickets and pricing for customers

· Other duties as assigned per the supervisor

Education/Experience

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· One (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Basic knowledge of Command Alkon

· Knowledge of concrete mix designs and aggregates

· Five years in concrete industry preferred

· Three years professional sales experience preferred

· Excellent customer service skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to write clearly and effectively

· Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

· Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting
