Job Summary

With Safety as a primary responsibility, this Plant Supervisor is responsible for supervising overall plant operations and employees to ensure non-stop production of top-quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety rules are followed

• Set production goals and expectation

• Ensure proper housekeeping of the plant

• Oversee the daily preventative maintenance program and coordinate maintenance projects

• Analyze scorecards and production reports

• Ability to work day shift and graveyard rotations when necessary

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Oversee shift personnel

• Hire, train, promote and discipline employees

• Adjust employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage of shifts

Requirements / Education / Experience

• High School diploma

• Minimum 3 years industry and general office experience

• Knowledge of construction products, computers, basic accounting, and inventory

• Working knowledge of manufacturing / production plants preferred

• Employee management experience preferred

Physical Environment

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

• Endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling

• Walking and standing for long periods of time
