Job Description

The Jr IT Analyst position will act as a liaison between project sponsors and end users to align technology organization goals with business and department-specific needs. They will collaborate with business users to assess and triage defects or needs for new features. They will also test all software and report changes to ensure optimal deliverables are handed off to users. Work situations vary and require development, analysis, and interpretation of data. The role will also provide technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, and managing network and system administration tasks. This position will require a strong technical understanding of IT systems, applications, administration, and support.

Job Responsibilities

• •  Recognize, understand, and use cross-functional departmental knowledge to provide technical support to end users through phone, email, or remote assistance
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Installing and configuring software applications and network equipment
  • Performing system upgrades and maintenance tasks
  • Managing user accounts and permissions on various IT systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining network security and data protection measures
  • Assisting with IT asset management and inventory tracking
  • Collaborating with other IT team members on projects and initiatives
  • Documenting IT processes and procedures for reference and training purposes
  • Finding trends in historical data to predict future outcomes
  • Attention to detail and employing resourcefulness to search and find insights on various trends and information
  • Devising new approaches and recommending solutions to solve business needs and contribute to continuous process improvement
  • Take initiative and work independently on assigned tasks and projects
  • Support/Conducting meetings, user training, demos, and speak in front of an audience
  • All other duties as assigne

Qualifications

•  Relevant degree in computer science or related degree/ applicable certifications
• 0-2 years experience in related field
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong technical background in IT systems, applications, support, and administration
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Must demonstrate strong problem solving skills, both analytical and conceptual.
• Ability to translate raw data and analytical results into clear written and verbal communication to internal stakeholders
• Ability to manager and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives of varying size and complexity, while meeting conflicting deadlines in a diverse challenging environment.
• Strong communication skills: oral, written, and presentation, plus the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the company
• Excellent customer service experience
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
