Position Overview :
Although NO CDL is required to operate this vehicle, the truck you will drive has the capacity of approximately 35 (or more) tons, which you will use to transport materials.
You may also operate heavy equipment, including a crusher, under the direction of a supervisor.

To execute this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Heavy Equipment experience, including Crushing Operation helpful.
Language Skills :
Ability to communicate sufficiently to convey and exchange ideas and give and receive detailed verbal instructions.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, climb, stand, walk, sit, reach, drive and use fine and repetitive motor skills. The employee must regularly lift and / or move more than 25 pounds with assistance.
This job's specific vision abilities include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet, humid conditions, airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold.
The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and may require protective equipment.
The work environment may include hot weather, cold weather, wet weather, noise exposure, high heat exposure, moving equipment, and working with others.
