Job Description

The Environmental Services EVS Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing facility solutions. This role will lead the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude towards customers, clients and co-workers. 
• Is responsive to customer needs. 
• Directs, implements and supervises the operation of the Custodial Department. Communicates organization and departmental policies and procedures, work orders and actions affecting employees
• Schedules and directs the work of Custodial Services in order to maintain a quality control rating of not less than 85%
• Assures the observance of all policies, procedures, work standards and checks work for proper completion and quality. Takes corrective action if needed
• Acts as liaison between all departments and Custodial Services
• Recommends to Director specific actions including transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, overtime, discipline and paid days off, based on employee's performance and the needs of the department
• Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards of operation, client and within Aramark's Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to regulations and codes
• Maintains compliance with all requirements of Federal, State and local regulations and guidelines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with Disability Act, as amended
• Replenishes supplies such as: paper towels, toilet tissues, soap, etc., requests supplies and equipment as needed
• Performs all other related duties

Qualifications

• One year of previous supervisory or three years lead experience in housekeeping functions preferred. 
• Demonstrate leadership potential. 
• Read, wrote and understand English. 
• Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively. 
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics. 
• Ability to apply elementary math functions. 
• Ability to work well under time constraints. 
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but involved written or oral instructions. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Education

Position requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
