PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires a Class 1 CDL drivers license and the ability to operate a low bed truck.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Heavy truck operation requirements used in support of the Construction operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience moving construction equipment is REQUIRED.
• Job consists of moving construction equipment, including safely loading, unloading and hauling the equipment to its destination throughout CT and New England.
• Must understand overweight routing as most of our loads require overweight permits.
• Possess an understanding of the operation of various pieces of equipment, sufficient to load / unload from the transport vehicle.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to perform work in daytime and nighttime conditions

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and construction areas as outlined by OSHA and state agencies.

Protective equipment that is required for this position : Hardhat, safety glasses, reinforced toed shoes, hand protection, safety vest / high visibility clothing for any work in the field. Hearing protection.
