Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center has an opening for a Program Director. The team includes mental health clinicians, counselors, case managers, peer specialists, and an administrative support team to help people change their lives for the better.
Hours: This is a salaried, non-exempt position. Must be available on a 24-hour basis for program consultation and crisis intervention if needed.
Salary: $105,000 to $115,000 per year
Education: Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work or Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed or license-eligible with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology required

Managed and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned program, to include all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, staff management, client care, and quality assurance and control.

Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP), which provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.
All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego County residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
