• Conduct thorough analysis of architectural and engineering drawings to prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information.
• Evaluate proposals, blueprints, and specifications to identify potential issues and estimate project timelines.
• Prepare accurate and competitive bid proposals, ensuring timely submission.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive cost database, including historical data and labor productivity rates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, conduct regular site visits, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Review and negotiate contracts, purchase orders, and change orders as needed.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to improve estimation accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
