Crete United is Hiring a Steamfitter Near Washington, DC
This ideal candidate will be a Steamfitter, proficient in pipe fitting with the ability or knowledge to weld. Past experience in refrigeration, hydronic, steam plants is needed. Demonstrated past performance within Data Center and Central Plant environments is required.
Location: DC Metro Area
Type: full time permanent position with the 602 Union
Pay: $47 Per hour DOE Excellent Benefits
The Steamfitter will be involved with and responsible for:
- Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
- Reading blueprints and project plans to guide the work on site.
- Managing the use of materials and equipment.
- Reporting on progress and issues to the Area Superintendent and Project/Service Manager.
Position Requirements:
- Journeymen License
- OSHA 30
- Valid Drivers License
- Rigging Cert / Welding / Med Gas preferred but not required!
- 2 Years of experience in a previous supervisory role
- Able to communicate well with subordinates and lead from the front!
