Crestwood Behavioral Health is Hiring a Corporate Director of Nursing (In-Patient Behavioral Health) Near Sacramento, CA

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager/Director to provide guidance, support, consultation and leadership to our Skilled Nursing and Behavioral Health facilities. This is an opportunity to continue to grow in your position, make a difference in your community, and work for a company that puts client care first. This role will divide time between remote home office work, in campus, and occasional meetings in the home office.

Position requirements:

  • Requires a current California license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience in Nursing Leadership and/or Director of Nursing in long-term care.
  • Must have Skilled Nursing facility experience
  • Experience in Behavioral Health is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Title 22, OSHA standards, Title 9, CARF standards preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. 

Summary of Duties:

  • Position keeps executive management informed of regulatory changes and opportunities for improvement in services,
  • Assists with policy development related to nursing and medical care,
  • Supports the campuses in developing plans of corrections for licensure surveys.
  • This position requires excellent communication and abilities to collaborate with our campus leaders.
  • Requires knowledge of both State and Federal regulations, Survey Process, Surveyor Guidelines, and Informal Dispute Resolution process.
  • Must possess critical reasoning and nursing care assessment skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Position will provide support to all programs and fill in as DON if the campus is without.
  • Position requires the ability to travel to campuses within California.
