The Associate Estimator is responsible for reviewing & evaluating plans, bid specifications, drawings and performing an accurate take off in a timely manner. Once the take-off is complete, the Associate Estimator will work with Company approved vendors in obtaining accurate pricing for the materials. All costs for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and such are to be evaluated and based upon company guidelines and experience, used to generate a concise and professional bid. During this entire process, the Associate Estimator may have to converse with clients, visit jobsites, and collaborate with team members in the preparation of an accurate, professional, detailed, and timely proposal that meets the client’s objectives. Also, and at all times, customer service and a positive helpful disposition is critical and mandatory. |
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time, in a standard office work environment. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs., unaided.
