Position Summary:
The PACU/ASU Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for pre- and post-operative patients recovering from general, local, and regional anesthesia based upon age specific and cultural needs.
Shift: Days - Monday thru Friday - 8 hours shift.
Must-Haves :
1.- Associate degree from an accredited professional nursing school Required.
2.- Certifications: ACLS required upon hire.
3.- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.
4.- Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse Required.
Nice-To-Haves :
1.- ASPAN Certification preferred.
2.- Bachelor's degree preferred.
3.- NIH stroke certification preferred.
4.- 3 years' experience in PACU/ACU.
