JOB DESCRIPTION

40 Hours, M-F, Day, some early evenings
The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who functions as a patient care provider, supervisor and clinical resource for staff. 

She/he implements management and clinical activities. Coordinates clinical activities to ensure that the nursing process is operationalized utilizing Standards of
Care/Standards of Practice. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the provision of patient care consistent with department/hospital and regulatory standards. Focus in on leadership within the Emergency Department of the Boarder program including management of dedicated staff, collaboration with inpatient physician teams and ongoing commitment to program improvement (quality and patient experience)

Must-Haves:

• 3-5 years of RN Clinical Experience
• MA RN License
• BSN Must Have

Nice-To-Haves:

• Multilingual, ED Experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with standard software programs used in healthcare
• Experience with neonatal abstinence preferred
• OB Float Pool experience or Mother Baby/post partum experience preferred
