POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager serves as a liaison to other departments and providers for the systems.
The Manager also actively functions in one or more of the imaging modalities and assists the Imaging Director in the daily operations of the Department.
Daily operational activities include but are not limited to: monitoring operation of systems, monitoring productivity and assisting with time keeping (Kronos), staff scheduling and evaluations, charging and charge reconciliation, quality control and performance improvement, and student supervision
MUST TO HAVES :
- Ability to work 50% staffing floor and 50% administrative/office role
- ARRT Advanced Certification in Additional Modality – Required if CT/ MRI is additional modality
- Minimum of one year of supervisory Team Lead or Manager Level experience.
NICE TO HAVES :
- A focus on the patient experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of hire
- Education Bachelor of Science degree in Radiology Science is preferred
- ARDMS or ARRT Sonography in US –Required if US is additional modality
- Knowledge of PACS, RIS and Powerscribe
