The Refrigeration Territory Manager will be responsible for increasing sales and profitability of Crescent’s commercial and industrial refrigeration business segment. They will be instrumental in developing, quoting and selling complete projects to our customers, and working with them after the sale to assure product satisfaction. Working with the Refrigeration Team, they will assist with developing and implementing an annual marketing plan for all major industrial customers, and then implementing the plan with assigned accounts.Essential Functions• Increase sales and gross margin dollars with assigned accounts• Identify potential refrigeration accounts and develop a plan for growth• Assist in the development of an annual marketing plan• Provide excellent customer service and support to Crescent customers• Support Crescent inside/outside sales teams, product managers and refrigeration productgroup with all aspects of refrigeration products and servicesDuties and Responsibilities• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration products: Ability to estimate/quote, manage andlead refrigeration projects• Ability to read blueprints, accurately determine load calculations, size units, and anunderstanding of air flow relating to refrigeration products• Ability to provide complete quotes to customers including the bundling orproducts/components• Ability to design refrigeration systems• Ability to teach customers basic principles and operations of refrigeration, completesystems, compressors• Ability to present to customers efficiencies and operating costs of systems• Strong organization and communication skills – ability to teach and present in classroomsettings• Ability to work/interact with all levels of management, building rapport and cohesiveworking relationships• Ability to utilize resources, data and knowledge to determine and capitalize onopportunities for growth• Self-motivated, resourceful, strategic-thinking, persistent• Thorough knowledge of computer systems: Excel, PowerPoint, product selection tools,industry programsExperience & Qualifications• College Degree or Technical Trade school• 10 years of HVACR experience• 5 years of Refrigeration experience• 5 years of sales experience• Business experience including long and short term market planning and profit managementWork Environment• This person may need to go on job sites into motor rooms, on rooftops, into control rooms, etc.with contractors and other customers.• This person will be subjected to high and low temperature areas.About Crescent Parts & EquipmentCrescent Parts & Equipment is a third-generation, family-owned wholesale distributor of HVACR parts and equipment in Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa, and has been successfully growing for 80 years.
