About the position:

As a Production Supervisor, the position includes overseeing Crescent’s production operations ensuring the manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff. You will be responsible for directing, training, and assisting fellow manufacturing and production workers.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

· Ensure employees are producing a quality product;

· Monitoring daily production and quality control of employee, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary assisting in all aspects on the production floor.

· Analyze the schedule and advise of any deficiencies to the Production Manager and Scheduler;

· Assess needs within facility with respect to people, training/cross training, equipment, tooling and other areas relative to departmental production schedules;

· Maintain proper documentation and reporting of production information;

· Organize areas within his/her authority to meet primary responsibilities;

· Play a key role in controlling and reducing scarp by department;

· Maintain departmental cleanliness;

· Promote/enforce the safety of all employees by ensuring they are wearing the required personal protective equipment (i.e., steel (fiberglass) toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and sleeves)

· Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency; and

· Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.

Required Skills:

· A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing supervising experience is highly preferred;

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization;

· Excellent planning and organizational skills; and

· Ability to make effective decisions, seek to find solutions to problems

Work Environment:

This is a professional position with active involvement with manufacturing processes and presence within the facility.

Physical Demands:

Being able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds when needed. Division of duties within production and office settings. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000 per year, depending on experience

Overtime: Can work up to two (2) Saturdays a month with six (6) hour shifts, that is compensated for.
