Crescent Hotels & Resorts is Hiring a Revenue Manager Near Palm Beach Gardens, FL

The Revenue Manager responsibilities and requirements are as follows: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Experience includes oversight at a luxury resort and spa destination
  • Experience with dynamic pricing
  • Effective yielding strategies resulting in monthly and annual RevPar increases
  • Consistent achievement of forecasting accuracy
  • Development of Group Room ceiling and future rates.
  • Establishes sound business strategies based on trends and seasonality.
  • Consistently manages the various revenue channels
  • Understanding of the Group Sales Process
  • Preferred knowledge of Visual 1, iHotelier and Amadeus FDC
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift, weekends, holidays.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to prepare, implement and update the Strategic Sales Plan.
  • Complete knowledge of hotel rooms and meeting related services available to guests.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers exercising patience, tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to use PC based software including Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Ability to use / manipulate the Central Reservation, Yield Management and Property
  • Management Systems for tracking, forecasting and executing optimal selling strategies.
  • Comprehension of the reservations sales process.
  • Understanding of the group sales process.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and market data.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two years Sales, Reservations or Accounting Experience.
  • Previous computer skills and / or mathematics and statistical back group absolutely required.

Language Skills: Excellent service skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communications skills, organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele, good penmanship, golf knowledge.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to spend 50% of working day sitting and other 50% standing or walking. Must be able to walk entire length of property for site inspections.

Ability to read a computer screen from a distance of 1-3 feet.

The employee is required regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. Must present self in a mature professional manner.
