DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
Essential:
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Crescent Hotels & Resorts standards, as required by scheduling
which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper un inform and
name tag when working (per brand standards)
• Comply at all times with Crescent Hotels & Resorts standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel
operations.
• Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees.
• Utilize a daily checklist to complete projects as assigned.
• Greet all guests as they arrive at the poolside area
• Escort them to the desired lounges and/or table
• Empty trash as needed
• Follow checklist and submit to housekeeping at the end of your shift
• Offer and sell food and beverage items through suite service to guests as needed.
• Open towels and provide guests with bottled water
• Address and resolve all customer issues in an efficient and effective manner.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
• Report any and all deficiencies to the appropriate manager.
• Follow lost and found procedures in an efficient a timely manner.
• Maintain open communication with other departments.
• Attend meetings as necessary.
• Promote teamwork, employee motivation, and morale.
• Remain mindful of energy conservation.
• Follow all safety and security regulations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the Hotel and its guests.
• At all times, adhere to the policies and procedures of Crescent Hotels & Resorts
• Uphold Hotel’s commitment to superior service and hospitality
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow employees and self.
• Handle all guests requests in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Be familiar with Crescent Hotels & Resorts policies and house rules.
• Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other
employees.

Customer Satisfaction: 

Our customers are what we are about. One of the keys to a positive guest experience is positive interaction with Crescent staff. It is essential that you remain professional at all times, and that you treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, under all circumstances. Every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day. 

Work Habits:

In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security: 

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
