Crescent Digital LLC is Hiring an AV Technician Near Cleveland, OH

Title: AV Installation Technician Level 2

Reports to: Director of Integration

Coordinates with: Integration and Project Management

Job Type: Integration and Project Management

Purpose and Scope: The AV Installation Technician is responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment and systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables for a variety of corporate and residential markets
  • Install infrastructure cabling for data, phone and AV according to designated layout
  • Test audio video and sound systems according to designated layout
  • Program control systems
  • Diagnose and correct media system problems
  • Coordinate audio feeds with television images
  • Identify equipment requiring repairs as needed
  • Identify alternative solutions to onsite installation issues.
  • Compile technical documents such as Serial Numbers and Warranties
  • Train End Users on AV equipment
  • Review Punch Lists with Project Manager prior to departure to Job site and again before leaving Job site.
  • Provide Job specific feedback to Project Manager
  • Complete Project Documentation as provided by Project Manager
  • Pick up shipments of product/equipment as needed per Job
  • Train Level 1 Technicians on building and installing equipment
  • Ability to be the point person on a Job Site and assign duties to other Technicians as needed
  • Load and unload work vehicles with product for the project
  • Perform duties on location as assigned
  • Company paid travel required (including weekends)

Education & Skills:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Advanced knowledge of AV industry
