Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Provide interventions, treatments, and therapies according to the established patient care plans.
- Document resident care services by charting in patient and department records according to accepted regulatory, corporate, and professional guidelines.
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients.
- Educate patients and family members on treatments, prevention, and care enhancement techniques.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with facility procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure the quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and hospital or regulatory standards.
- Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy school.
- Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
- Demonstrated ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- No weekend rotations required.
- Hourly range: $39.20 - $43.07
