CREO Arts & Dance Conservatory is Hiring an Events Manager Near Minnetonka, MN

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Event Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and execution, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and guests.We are a large, performance-based dance school focused on providing families with a joyful wholesome dance school where young dancers thrive. Our creative environment supports over 30 large and small events throughout the year. The CREO Event Manager responsibilities are to organize and communicate the yearly event schedule, oversee volunteers, clients, vendors, and staff. Communicate with clients regarding the details of each event, manage marketing and ensure that scheduled events are successful. Be willing to work in a high energy creative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events including concert dance performances, open house carnival, fall retreat, spring banquet, open houses and more.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics such as venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability
- Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Oversee event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms
- Provide on-site management during events to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze successes and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field
- Proven experience in event management with a strong background in organizing restaurant, catering, or banquet events
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in time management and prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals with vendors and suppliers
- Experience in fundraising events is a plus
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement
