Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Processor/Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing loan applications from initial submission to final approval. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate.
• Verify applicant information, including income, employment, credit history, and property details.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and others to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for approval.
• Coordinate loan closing process and ensure all closing conditions are met.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the loan process.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or similar role in the mortgage industry.
• In-depth knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using mortgage loan software (we use Calyx Point) and MS Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
