Creekside Counseling Group is Hiring a Business Manager, Mental Health Outpatient Near Grand Blanc, MI

We are hiring a business manager, who will help to develop and promote the brand of Creekside Counseling Group and fashion new ways to make the business grow and thrive. Develops business ideas to improve the sales record of the organization. Responsible for overseeing the billing department and assisting in payroll. An understanding of behavioral health billing is required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and prioritizes and embodies the organization’s vision and values.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market and the unique challenges of mental health services

Financial Management

  • Collaborates with the CEO regarding budget development and revenue targets.
  • Responsible for payroll for clinical and administrative staff.
  • Review administrative staff timecards timely and make necessary corrections by the payroll deadlines.
  • Collects and analyzes accurate data from expense reports, trends, cash flows, income statements and quarterly strategic sales plan updates.

Strategic Planning and Growth

  • Assists with developing and implementing effective business development strategies.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including organizational management, billing department, finance, training, credentialing, and other business operations.
  • Evaluates the business expansion needs.

Billing Department Oversight:

  • Supervise and lead the billing team to ensure accurate and timely billing of services rendered to patients.
  • Monitor and optimize the revenue cycle, including claims processing, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
  • Implement and enforce billing policies and procedures to minimize errors and maximize revenue capture.
  • Stay informed about insurance regulations, coding updates, and reimbursement guidelines relevant to mental health services.
  • Responsible for managing budgets and minimizing barriers to processing charges for services. Will respond to claim denials and correct the error for resubmission for payments.

Education and Experience Requirements
● Bachelor's Degree (Required)
● Medical Billing 1 year (Required)
● Computer skills: 1 year (Required), Google Suite Experience (Preferred)
