3 MONTH CONTRACT

Summary

Department: Acute 9 East​

Shift Timing: 18:30 - 07:00 Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hour shift

Per Week: 36 Hours

This department is a 28 unit, serving CardioPulmonary adult patients and neuro overflow adult patients and does have cardiac telemetry and continuous pulse oximeter capabilities. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6. The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry.

​Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,580.00 - $1,680.00 per week
