About the Role:

Are you passionate about creating user-centered products that help consumers improve their financial well-being? Credible is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to meaningfully shape the user experience of our products, helping users make more informed decisions about their financial future.

The role is full time and compensation will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Own large and small projects for one or more of our product verticals, in partnership with product managers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to define product requirements and design solutions that meet user needs and business goals
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and iterate based on feedback
  • Leverage user research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions and validate assumptions
  • Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all products and platforms
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in product design, technology, and fintech to drive continuous improvement

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in product design, preferably for B2C/consumer internet products
  • Strong proficiency with Figma
  • An inspiring portfolio that demonstrates experience driving design projects, contributing to design systems, working through complex user flows, and shipping products that are functional, intuitive and visually compelling
  • Experience applying user research methodologies and product data/analytics to inform design decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions
  • Experience working closely and effectively with product managers, engineers and other cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
