Overview
Credence Management Solutions LLC is looking for experienced ServiceNow Developer(s) to support an upcoming project with our federal customer. The successful candidate(s) should possess the core duties of both Junior and Mid-leveled ServiceNow developer, encompassing various aspects of development, security, collaboration, reporting, and documentation within the ServiceNow environment. This role is supporting a federal client environment so ship is required. Anticipated on-boarding is targeted for May 2024.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and maintenance of scoped applications within ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideScript to enhance the functionality and user experience of ServiceNow scope applications.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications effectively by leveraging ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP, and JSON) to ensure seamless data exchange and functionality.
  • Customize the ServiceNow User Interface (UI) using UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts to optimize user experience.
  • Configure workflows using Flow Designer to automate business processes and streamline workflows within ServiceNow applications.
  • Design efficient data structures for scoped applications within ServiceNow by understanding data modeling concepts such as tables, fields, relationships, and database views.
  • Define and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) within ServiceNow applications to control access to data and functionality, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, leveraging MID Server and Integration Hub to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Identify and resolve issues within scoped applications by applying strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, including error handling, logging, and debugging techniques within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards within ServiceNow using OOTB reporting tools and Performance Analytics to provide insights into key metrics.
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and address ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Implement and maintain data security measures within ServiceNow applications, including encryption data masking to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow applications, configurations, and customizations, including technical specifications, user guides, process documentation.
Qualifications :
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years for the Junior leveled role and 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Must be proficient in creating and managing scoped applications within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working within Agile development framework.
  • Must have familiarity with data integration methodologies and tools, demonstrating the ability to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications effectively.
  • Must be proficient in JavaScript.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:
    • Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field of study
  • ServiceNow System Administration certifications (a plus)
  • ServiceNow Scripting (a plus)
  • ITIL v3 Foundations certified (a plus)
  • Advanced ITIL certifications (a plus)
Clearance Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance is preferred.
