Responsibilities

Preschool/Toddler teacher with an emphasis on special education

• Provide exceptional care and security in a Christ-centered atmosphere
• Employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children and facilitate curriculum daily
• Organize nap and feeding times and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Collaborate with other educators
• Continuing education and training, as well as networking and development
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience in childcare and/or teaching and an expressed interest in childcare work in the area of special education
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Cool-tempered, friendly, and able to communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
• Extremely reliable
• Certification in child CPR and First Aid is preferred, but we will provide training
• Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Development, equivalent, or a CDA preferred, but we will provide CDA training

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $20-25 per hour plus paid time off, health insurance, dental, disability, life, and 401k retirement match.
