Creative Werks is a family owned company located in Des Moines, Iowa. We are looking for an entry to mid-level Electronics Technician that will work with our Engineering team and produce low volume specialty electronics products.

Pay Based on Experience primary job will be final assembly of SMD circuit board assemblies this would include the following tasks:

· Operate and Final Inspection of goods from the SMD line

· Load Test Software

· Solder any remaining components / Connectors with selective soldering machine or by hand

· Clean and organize work area and flow

· Work with engineering staff on new product development and testing

· Operate Laser Engraver

· Final testing, packaging and shipping

· Build low volume wire harnesses and prototypes

· Other Duties as assigned

Due to work with regulated components applicant will need to pass a background check, no felonies.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· Hand coordination and dexterity

· Knowledge of crystals, specs, SOPs, and testing processes

· Ability to work cohesively with peers, engineers, and supervisors

· Be able to use a microscope for long periods of time

· Accountable for addressing any issues in their cell areas to the supervisor

· Understanding of basic tools or testing equipment

Education, Experience, & Training:

GED or High School diploma

Preferred applicants would have 2-year degree or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to bend and twist

Must have fine motor skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
