Title: LED Lead Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Description of Responsibilities:
Creative Technology New York is accepting applicants for the position of LED Department Lead Technician. This individual will be based in our New Jersey facility. This person will be an integral and vital part of the Creative Technology LED Team.

The purpose of this position is to compile and prep LED equipment for customer rentals, perform inventory on LED equipment, basic maintenance, manage led repairs and returns. This person will help develop internal teams to address: Workflow, QC Test Procedures, System Prep, Parts Department, Service Bench and the general LED inventory in our facility.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

• Set up LED tile walls for quality testing.
• Participate in an LED setup; learn how to build and operate all LED equipment.
• Facilitate the departure and return of products and gear.
• Load and unload trucks as directed.
• Compile and scan the complete load list for events by picking, packing, and shipping all necessary equipment.
• Properly store and move equipment as needed.
• Maintain a high level of teamwork within the Field Shop in order to provide the highest level of customer service.
• Work with supervisors and other shop technicians to carry out proper shop maintenance.
• Check-in LED and move equipment to appropriate locations within the shop.
• Repair basic power and data cables
• Learn more complex functions of gear, applications, and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment and assist in other shop activities as needed.
• Represent the company to clients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist in other Field Shop activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Fulltime, ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Availability to work overtime.
Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma, Technical Degree preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Some experience in a warehouse or shop environment is plus
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Certified to drive sit down and standup forklift a plus
• Computer literacy / experience with Microsoft office a plus
• R2 inventory software experience a plus
• Vectorworks experience a plus
• Adobe Photoshop a plus
• Clean driver license a plus
