Creative Metal Products (CMP), founded in 1995, is a privately held, managed-growth oriented company. We fabricate individual components, assemblies or complete products to meet our customer’s unique specifications. We specialize in metal fabrication- using light- to medium-thickness metals. CMP serves a number of industries including- Electronics component and assemblies; Lighting/Energy; Industrial equipment- machine enclosures; Electrical Enclosure; Material handling equipment and storage; medical, safety and military.

Preferred Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welder by loading parts into the robot and unloading finished parts doing quality checks on all finished parts
• Grinding/welding as needed for quality standards on finished parts
• Ability to understand and decipher different types of welds
• Ability to read and understand measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, etc.
• Demonstrated ability in MIG of varying thicknesses.
• Knowledge of blueprints, tolerances and weld symbols.
• Must be able to frequently lift, bend and stand
• Ability and experience working on a team, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately with changing priorities.
• Must be detail oriented and thorough with excellent written/verbal communication.
• Action-oriented, customer service-oriented attitude, taking initiative to follow projects and jobs through the production process.

Preferred Experience (willing to train)

• 1 years' experience as a robotic welder preferred
• 1 years' experience with MIG welding preferred but not required
• Programming knowledge is not required
• 2 years' experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable
• Experience working in ISO 9001 certified environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Morning shift
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Blueprint reading: 2 years (Preferred)
• MIG welding: 2 years (Preferred)
• Robotic Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
