- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Child Welfare, Immigration, and Adoption Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- The SME will play a critical role in evaluating performance indicators, analyzing existing data infrastructure, and providing expert guidance on best practices in child welfare, immigration, and adoption systems. This position requires a deep understanding of industry regulations, laws, and statutes governing child welfare, immigration, and adoption and proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Evaluate performance indicators and existing performance measures within the data infrastructure.
- Utilize expert knowledge of child welfare, immigration, and adoption systems to analyse data analytics strategies currently in use.
- Interpret statistical and numerical data to assess performance and compare with established performance measures and indicators.
- Provide recommendations and designs for improvement of data architecture to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and ensure child safety, health, timely discharges, and family unifications.
- Support the development of reports containing both qualitative and quantitative information to inform decision-making processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in child welfare, early childhood development, social work, child psychology, or a closely related field.
- Strong working knowledge of child welfare, immigration, and adoption systems and best practices.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a state or local child welfare system directly with local programs or state-funded systems.
- Experience with foster care, adoption, and childcare licensing systems governing laws, statutes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
