Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver and Production team member to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting Ice to various locations. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate our varried vans and freezer vans. As Production Team Member you will help with ice block manufacturing and processing into cocktail ice. This can also include helping in the design and construction of ice sculptures, seafood displays and ice bars. Some weekend work is required as we are an event based business.

Duties:

- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver Ice cubes, Ice Bars and Ice sculptures to designated locations around the greater Pacific Northwest.

- Receiving training on how to handle, load and work with ice safely

- Load and unload cases of ice cube, Ice sculptures and Ice bars.

- Follow delivery schedules and routes based on the orders placed each week.

- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner

- Be able to respond well to last minute orders and make adjustments

- Assisting with installation/removal of ice sculptures at special events

- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service

- Keep accurate records of deliveries including signatures and payments.

Requirements include

* Washington State Drivers License

* Professional appearance. Uniform shirt and hat provided.

* Knowledge of navigating downtown Seattle, Tacoma and Bellevue areas.

* Candidates must be responsible, detail oriented, able to work independently.

* Ability to do some heavy lifting using proper techniques and equipment provided.

* Success in this position requires keen, good judgment and flexibility. You must be a problem solver and be able to work effectively with all levels of staff and customers.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred

- Familiarity with the downtown core including allys, one ways, loading docks and load zones.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
