Overview of the Purchasing Specialist role:
- Maintain adequate stock of inventory items
- Utilize Titan software to create and send up purchase orders for standard and special inventory
- Fulfill PM request for job specific material
- Maintain knowledge of services and products
- Conduct weekly cycle counts on raw material items
- Receive material in the Titan software system (delivery tickets and credit card expenses under OPC accounts)
- Vendor relations
- Make sure all receipts are entered in a timely manner for month end close
Preferred Qualifications for the Purchasing Specialist:
- 2 years of Purchasing experience
- Vendor management experience
- Solid MS Excel
- Start to finish processing of PO's.
