Procurement Specialist

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our airport operations by managing procurement processes efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services necessary for the airport's day-to-day operations.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST ROLE:

  • The Procurement Specialist will edit and proofread procurement-related documents, such as contracts, proposals, and reports, to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established standards.
  • The Procurement Specialist will oversee the management of recordings related to procurement activities, ensuring proper documentation and organization for audit and compliance purposes.
  • The Procurement Specialist will maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance metrics to support reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • A couple years of experience of working in administration or office work.
  • Well versed in Microsoft outlook.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for process improvements and mitigate risks.
