Plant Controller Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely, accurate and efficient accounting close on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Ensures accuracy of the company's financial status and reported results in addition to investigation and explanation of book to physical adjustments
- Completes accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, procurement, and general ledger accounting
- Facilitates accounting department's use of CRMs and various other company applications and integrates software into accounting processes and procedures
- Performs technical accounting issue research and resolution as necessary
- Creates annual business plan in conjunction with the Plant Manager in addition to annual budget and financial forecasting
Plant Controller Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry
- Manufacturing industry experience in accounting
