- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll in accordance with established deadlines.
- Payroll Clerk reconciles payroll data and resolves discrepancies as needed.
- Generate reports related to payroll and garnishments for management review.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in the payroll department.
- Stay up-to-date on payroll best practices and industry trends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk with a focus on managing garnishments.
- Familiarity with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, laws, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees.
- Proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
