RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR TECHNICAL ACCOUNTANT:

• Perform monthly and quarterly SOX controls that relate to global revenue recognition practices

• o Includes exposure to members of Senior Management
• o Serve as contact for global parts testing and database maintenance to help ensure accuracy of revenue reporting

• Perform analysis of pending transaction structures proposed by the business
• Assist in developing / assessing key initiatives with the SOX Compliance Group
• Assist in Technical Accounting matters as needed to support the organization

• o Purchase accounting,
• o Technical accounting papers,
• o Assist in system conversion processes

• Serve as a liaison to the business and a resource for various accounting questions and projects
• Maintain / update summary listing of accounting issues, work with management to summarize key issues and exposure items, and clearly articulate summaries and positions taken
• Work closely with internal audit team and the external auditors for coordinating audits

REQUIREMENTS OF THE SENIOR TECHNICAL ACCOUNTANT

• Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance required and minimum of 3 years experience with SOX compliance
• Public accounting experience is preferred
• CPA is a plus
• Strong analytical, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated, time management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
