Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established and growing logistics company. They are looking to add an Assistant Controller to the team and will move quickly for the right candidate.

The Assistant Controller responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee month end close
• Provide day to day oversight of payroll, AR, and AP
• Directly supervise 2-4 payroll specialists and staff accountants
• Ensure all tax compliance and leasing standard compliance
• Assist with intercompany transactions and consolidations
• Assist with external audit needs and schedules
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Assistant Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5 year's full cycle general ledger experience
• Experience directly supervising staff
• High degree of proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
